I started in the Jacuzzi, Spa and Hot Tub industry in November 2004, placed in charge of the Jacuzzi Cover department in a small Hot Tub manufacturing company. My first month was so successful that I was moved to running the factory.
I left in November 2010, at which point I had run the cover department, Managed the Manufacturing of the Hot Tubs for 2 years, Ran the Operations department for 2 years (Liaising with customers about installation dates etc.) Successfully rescued one of our branches in PE, Came back in 2007 to manage the sales department.
In this time I learnt everything about Hot Tubs we were manufacturing. Since 2010 I have also learnt everything about all the other manufactures Hot Tubs and Covers. When getting quotes, please ask the manufacturer what reinforcing they use. Most use mild steel and then one uses acrylic off cuts they get when cutting the sheets for manufacturing. These strips are stuck on with contact adhesive.
